Those who never feel that they have faults and drawbacks to cure belong to the lowest order ; those who are aware of their faults but do not seriously care to cure themselves, form the higher category ; while the best are those that are aware of their faults and pine to cure them ; these last a true SADHAKA should emulate. They are not few who progress half-way along the spiritual path ; those who persist to the end are rare , indeed .

Yogic asanas were taught in ancient India ages ago and by now Nature has made the human frame much more sensitive and some of these asanas if indulged in would seriously harm rather than heal.
Mejority of people who are engaged in Yogic asanas today do it incorrectly or thoughtlessly.
All asanas lose their meaning and are positively harmful if not accompanied by UNIVERSAL BREATHING.
Prana is energy or nerve impulse. Vayu is a current of impulses. Breath alone has very little to do with pranayama , though the art of breathing is one of the means of bringing under control the 'Prana' ie.energy or nerve impulses. The real object of pranayama is to control the nerve impulses and nerve centres. It means , in other words , controlling of impulses received and directing of energy thus received. Pranayama is a process of bringing under control the autonomic nervous system over which normally we have no control.
Mistakenly pranayam is regarded as regulation of breath alone.
Pranayam is the art or technique of the control of the impulses by the help of many factors , of which , one such factor is breathing.
